Where Care Lives

The Office of Conflict Resolution is designed to help students, staff and faculty members build, support and sustain a culture of care, respect and resolution. By addressing conduct that disrupts our learning, living and working environments, we endeavor to reduce and resolve conflicts through services and support that foster a welcoming environment.

By offering a diverse range of services and fostering collaboration across the campus community, we aim to cultivate and maintain an environment where all members can thrive and experience success at ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø.

Supporting Strategic Goals

The Office of Conflict Resolution directly supports Goal 4 of the strategic plan. By addressing Other Conduct of Concern (OCC) and inappropriate behaviors, we cultivate and deepen a space for discourse and civility, creating stronger relationships and a healthier campus environment.

OCR empowers ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø to resolve OCC and other conflict – not avoid it. We are then free to focus on deeper learning, innovation and student success. This is more than managing disputes – it’s about building a campus where respect, belonging, care and well-being are central to the ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø community.
