  • Employee Relations

    Employee Relations is responsible for providing counsel, advice and conflict resolution with respect to work-related difficulties. Avenues to report concerns vary.

  • Faculty Affairs

    Faculty Affairs, in part, is responsible for supporting faculty or administrators in managing conflict or addressing behavior considered unprofessional as found by the  a²Ô»å/´Ç°ù . Avenues to report concerns vary.

  • Office of Inclusive Excellence

    The Office of Inclusive Excellence works toward full access and success for all – across multiple dimensions of diversity – by identifying and eliminating barriers, preventing bias and discrimination, and providing multiple and inclusive pathways to success. It also is adjacent to the Office of the University Ombuds (currently suspended), which helps ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø faculty, staff and enrolled students resolve university-related conflicts, disputes or complaints on an informal basis.

  • Student Conduct

    Student Conduct focuses on the Standards for Student Conduct, working with students who have been referred to the Dean of Students Office for behavior that might violate the Standards for Student Conduct. Student Conduct ensures a safe and fair environment for students to reflect on their behaviors and discuss learning that has occurred.

  • Title IX

    Works to protect members of the campus community against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct, dating and domestic violence and stalking as defined by federal law. Title IX uses SPOO (severe, pervasive and objectively offensive) as part of the criteria to determine the merit of a report.

  • How OCR Differs
    The Office of Conflict Resolution addresses conflicts or concerns that fall outside of the parameters of the offices identified above. These are often Other Conduct of Concern (OCC) and other behaviors that are considered inappropriate but do not violate a policy or the Standards for Student Conduct, and generally do not rise to the level of a potential policy violation or warrant disciplinary action.
