The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe is a coming-of-age play that follows a girls' high school indoor soccer team as they navigate adolescence, identity, and the complexities of growing up. Set entirely during their pre-game warmups over several weeks, the play captures the overlapping, often chaotic conversations of the players as they discuss everything from global politics to personal anxieties. Through their interactions, rivalries, and moments of vulnerability, the girls grapple with issues of friendship, ambition, trauma, and belonging. The play offers an honest, nuanced portrayal of teenage girlhood and the unspoken bonds that form within a team.

Content warning: Strong language, heavy topics including death and grief, bullying.
