SLP Prep Non-Cohort

Students who wish to enroll in SLP Prep courses via Open University may do so by following the �� Open University Enrollment Process.

Please note, course offerings will vary each semester and there are limited seats in all courses. The courses on offer for the Fall 2025 term are:

Courses for the Spring 2026 semester will be added in late December 2025.

Additional Information

Each of these courses are 100% online and have weekly mandatory live chat sessions. Per the syllabus, students cannot miss more than one (1) live chat session in each course to remain eligible to pass the course.
These courses are not eligible for the Cal Vet Fee Waiver, either as part of the certificate program or as stand-alone courses.
Students who are registering in an EL SLP Prep cohort section will pay $370 per unit. Students registering in a stateside SLP course section will pay $350 per unit.
