Lecturer Committee (LC)* – Following the successful passage of the Constitutional Referendum on 3/10/25, beginning in Fall 2025 the Lecturer Committee (LC) will have seven seats for Lecturer Faculty, filled by direct election. The seven seats consist of representatives from CoBA, CEHHS, CHABSS, CSTEM, and the Library, and two seats representing the Lecturer Faculty At-Large. The seat terms are staggered so that some will be initially filled for one-year terms that convert to two-year terms starting in 2026. It is anticipated that lecturer faculty will be able to serve on up to three Senate Standing Committees, including LC.
The Academic Senate Office offers compensation for Lecturer seats including Lecturer Senators, LC members, and Lecturers serving on Senate Standing Committees. Funding is pending each year’s budgetary allocation and is currently anticipated as follows:
Please note: Compensation is currently not available for Lecturer seats on non-Senate Standing Committees and other University Committees, unless specified.
