Chancellor's Office - Spring 2026 Call - Growth in Undergraduate Innovation, Discovery and Engagement (CSU GUIDE)

This is a limited submission

±¬ÁÏÉçÇø may have three submissions in response to the CSU’s request for proposals (RFP) for the Growth in Undergraduate Innovation, Discovery, and Engagement (GUIDE) Program.  There will be an internal competition and review to select up to three proposals. The limit of three submissions per CSU is across the three categories of funding with no particular allocation in each category.  Internal submissions will be reviewed by the Grants and Contracts Development Committee according to the RFP’s review criteria. 

Submit an internal application in . An application includes the following documents:  

  • 5-page proposal prepared according to RFP requirements  
  • CVs for personnel (2 pages/each maximum)

Chancellor's Office Learning Innovation for Future-Forward Teaching (LIFT)

Call for LIFT Proposals

LIFT invites CSU faculty to design and test teaching innovations that more intentionally 
embed the development of durable skills into undergraduate courses and programs. 

Because a signature page is needed with signatures by the dept chair, dean, and provost, OGSR is facilitating these signatures and requires that applicants meet the following internal deadlines.   

LIFT  Internal Deadlines

  1. Prior to April 30 - Initiate conversation with dept chair (and dean as recommended by chair) for concept support (e.g., which course/s will be impacted, nature of the changes, etc.).
  2. Full proposal due to OGSR (grants@csusm.edu) May 14 11:59pm.
    Proposal includes project narrative, budget/budget narrative (complete budget in portal and insert screenshot into budget narrative file), assessment plan, and completed, unsigned template Documentation of Institutional Support as Word document. All documents should be prepared according to the guidance in the Call for Proposals.
  3. May 15 OGSR will distribute proposals and circulate signature page for signatures. 
  4. May 20-June 1 Faculty member submits proposal through LIFT Portal.
