Request Ongoing Support

Ongoing Support

If you feel you need extra support beyond attending our workshops or occasional Writing Center appointments, consider reaching out for Ongoing Support. A faculty or staff member can also recommend a student for Ongoing Support, and it is ultimately up to the student if they choose to proceed.

The Process

  1. Email writing@csusm.edu to express your interest in Ongoing Support with the Writing Center.
  2. Associate Director of Learning & Tutoring Services for Writing Support Allison Reyes will follow up with you on a time to meet, and ask for more information about what you are looking for.
  3. Meet with Allison to hear more about what the Writing Center can offer and share a bit about your unique circumstances, including what you are hoping to accomplish.
  4. Work together with Allison to develop a plan that works with your schedule and seeks to accomplish your goals.
  5. Work with the Writing Center according to the agreed upon plan. Allison will check in with you periodically on how you are progressing towards your goals.
  6. After the initial plan is completed, meet again with Allison to discuss your experience and next steps, such as creating a new plan for a new semester.
