Application Deadlines

Applications to the Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies program are reviewed on a rolling basis; apply at any time! However, priority is given to applications that are received by the following deadline:

  • Spring 2026: Jan. 7, 2025
  • Fall 2026: April 1, 2026

Please note: Applications are reviewed as they are submitted and qualified applicants are continually admitted to the program. It is important to get your application in as early as possible to maximize your chances of securing a spot before the program fills up. Once the program is full, qualified candidates will be added to a waitlist.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the online BA in Criminology and Justice Studies program you must complete the requirements listed below. 

  • General Requirements
    • Successful completion of the following courses with a 鈥淐-鈥 or better (12 units)
      • Oral Communication (A1)
      • Written Communication (A2)
      • Critical Thinking (A3)
      • Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning (B4)
    • Completion of 60 transferable semester college units (or 90 quarter units) to be eligible for admission, including the prerequisite courses listed below. 
    • Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all transferable units attempted 
      • 2.5 GPA for students who have already completed a 产补肠丑别濒辞谤鈥檚 
    • Must reside in an approved state 
  • Prerequisite
    • Completion of SOC 201 or its equivalent (this course must be completed by the third semester of the program)

The criminology and justice studies 产补肠丑别濒辞谤鈥檚 degree program is eligible for financial aid.
