Aspiring Scholars Peer Mentors Receive Campus Recognition
Peer mentors Merielle Dauz, Jade Severson, Andrea Gonzalez, Sarah Neidle, Angela Chantaca, and Robert "Nathan" Gonzalez were nominated for the Service-Learning Outstanding Student Award and Outstanding Student Service to Campus Award for their incredible support and wonderful contributions to the Aspiring Scholars Program.

Taylor Griffin, a graduate assistant for the Aspiring Scholars Program, received the College of Education, Health, and Human Services' Student Champion for Diversity, Inclusion, Equity Award for her exceptional work with the program and Jenna Walker who is studying psychology, received recognition as an Outstanding Service Learning Student for her role as a Peer Mentor for the Aspiring Scholars Program.

Faculty and Staff Secure Funding Across Disciplines
Program Director, Dr. Rebecca Brooks and Associate Director, Dr. Allison Jobin received $2.5 million in TPSID grants to expand the ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø Aspiring Scholars Program with full-time staff, a dedicated campus space and additional peer mentors.
