Hello! I'm Fina, short for Josefina, and I've been a part of the COMPASS center since 2019. Prior to my current role, I worked with the U.S. Immigration Policy Center at UCSD and the UndocuResearch Team. Additionally, I am proud to be an alumna of ±¬ÁÏÉçÇø. As the Assistant Director of the COMPASS center, my primary goal is to serve as your advocate. I am committed to ensuring that every student has the resources and support necessary to achieve their academic goals. Your success is my priority, so please don't hesitate to reach out. Hello, my name is Nayelie Ortiz, and I use she/her/ella pronouns. I am first generation student majoring in sociology with an emphasis on child, youth, and family. As a member of the COMPASS center team, I hope to support and be an ally to the undocumented students. Higher education is important, and I look forward to providing resources and assisting students in reaching their goals in their higher education.
