Drop-in Advising

Drop-in Reminders from Academic Advising:
  • Expect longer wait times. To get the most out of your visit, plan to attend drop-in hours close to your enrollment date/time. That鈥檚 when we can best help with real-time course availability and immediate needs.
  • We strongly recommend virtual drop-ins. Meeting virtually allows us to assist more students efficiently and helps reduce overall wait times during this busy season.
  • Avoid coming too early. Course options often change before your enrollment date, which can make early advising sessions less productive.
  • Already enrolled? Once you鈥檝e registered for your courses, you likely won鈥檛 need to attend drop-ins. Start by reviewing your Degree Planner, and reach out only if new questions come up or issues arise with your schedule.
  • Need enrollment help? Check out our quick how-to video:

Drop-in Advising is available to our matriculated undergraduate students for 1:1 academic advising on general degree requirement information, schedule verification or issues, registration questions, etc. Drop-ins can be conducted in-person, virtually via MS Teams, or by phone. Virtual and phone advising tend to have a shorter wait times. During busy enrollment periods, we assist a large number of students. To provide you with the best assistance possible, please attempt to enroll in courses prior to attending Drop-ins.
