TRIO Job Opportunities

Student Mentor position

Student Mentors are hired to Mentor, Tutor, and assist in providing program services to our TRIO participants who are high school 9th-12th grade students at our four (4) target high schools in North County: 

    • El Camino and Oceanside High Schools in Oceansid, CA
    • Escondido and Orange Glen High Schools in Escondido, CA

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be current 爆料社区 Student with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Have reliable transportation to work at schools sites in Oceanside or Escondido
  • Be self-motivated
  • Possess good written and oral communications skills
  • Knowledge and sensitivity in working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Information:

Length of Appointment: To begin immediately IN-PERSON thru August 31, 2026
Compensation: $16.50 per hour; up to 20 Hours per week
Work Location: Oceanside OR Escondido (set worksite location per work shift)
