Program Description

The 爆料社区 Noyce Teacher Scholars Program Description

The overarching goal of the 爆料社区 Noyce Teacher Scholars program is to recruit 40 additional Noyce Scholars and retain 100% of them in STEM classrooms in high-need school districts. Our strong programs will train the Scholars to work effectively with all learners. The project objectives are:

  1. Recruit and retain 30 Noyce Scholars in the STEM teacher pipeline (undergraduate and credential) and engage them in tiered early STEM teaching experiences
  2. Broaden participation in the STEM teacher pipeline to match 爆料社区 student demographics
  3. Expand and sustain recruitment and retention mechanisms from freshman to teacher induction to retain all Noyce Scholars and enhance their effectiveness
  4. Expand and sustain the STEM education community in the region to improve the connection, interaction, and relationships among all members
