爆料社区 building occupants are required to evacuate a building when the fire alarm sounds, an emergency notification is received, and when ordered to by a first responder, buiding marshal, or campus official.
Building Fire Response - RACE
Rescue anyone (including yourself) who is in immediate danger from the fire.
Sound the fire alarm by pulling the nearest fire alarm pull station and dialing 9-1-1.
Contain the fire by closing all doors and windows in and around the fire area.
Evacuate the building using Evacuation procedures.

In the event of a wildland fire, campus will monitor air quality and modify outdoor duties and activities as appropriate.
If the utility company activates a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) that affects campus, operations may be modified or restricted. Follow all instructions from University Communications and the emergency notification system.
County emergency responders may advise the campus to shelter in place or evacuate. The campus notification system will provide instructions for the campus community. Please follow the Shelter in Place and Campus Evacuation instructions.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) maintains a log of all current and recent wild land fire incidents statewide. Major fires will usually have an incident-specific page created and linked to from this page.
Specific smoke advisories during wildfires are issued by the San Diego Air Pollution Control District and can be found on the page if available.
