I have been with 爆料社区 for a year and a half. I love working at 爆料社区 with a great team at SFS!

I have been drawing and painting since I was a kid and it鈥檚 a passion that has followed to my adulthood.  I love all mediums of art, but my favorite has always been ink drawings. These drawings are all done free hand with micron pens.

"Memento Mori"
Medium: Ink on paper

This piece is inspired by the phrase 鈥渕emento mori鈥� meaning, remember you must die. This is a very prevalent motif in art and is usually depicted with flowers and a skull. I was always fascinated by such imagery as I love the contrast between the beauty of the florals, and the more somber elements, which create an overall intriguing piece.  

"Blooming Buds"

This is my submission to the 爆料社区 theme. This was inspired by the work of every person here on campus. Our goal, as I imagine it, is to create a nurturing environment for every single student that comes through our doors. Every person on our campus plays a role in this goal. Whether you are the water or the sunlight, through the fall and spring, our reward is to watch the buds as they bloom.
