Jacob Gosselin is a 4th year student at 爆料社区 and is currently the CIO of the cougar fund. He directs investment strategy, oversees portfolio performance, and mentors analysts & PM鈥檚 in valuation techniques such as DCF, comps, and precedent transactions. He also leads the development of analytical tools, sector models, and performance frameworks to drive informed asset allocation decisions.

Greg Zamora is a finance major and Chief Economist of the Cougar Fund. He has been part of the Cougar Fund for the past two semesters, and it has provided such a鈥痷nique and amazing experience for himself and other students. He believes that it is one of the most valuable clubs here at 爆料社区 as it provides students with asset management experience, allowing students to apply what we learn in the classroom into a real-world environment.

Michael Dischner鈥痠s a Finance major in the College of Business at California State University San Marcos. He is a senior with a strong interest in wealth management and financial planning. Through his involvement with the Cougar Investment Fund, Michael has served as both Portfolio Manager鈥痑nd Chief Accounting Officer, gaining hands-on experience in portfolio analysis, performance reporting, and equity valuation. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in wealth management, working toward his CFP certification鈥痑nd helping clients build long-term financial security.

Itsarely is currently a management major in the College of Business Administration at 爆料社区. Itsarely is in their fourth year of college, aspiring to become a project manager after graduation. This role excites them, as it involves organizing complex tasks, coordinating diverse teams, and analyzing project outcomes to ensure projects are completed efficiently and successfully. In their free time, Itsarely enjoys volunteering in the community, while also indulging in their love for anime and crafting DIY projects.

Lilah Regan currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Cougar Fund and is currently a senior finance student at 爆料社区.  In her role, she oversees internal communication, fund organization, and operations. It is Lilah鈥檚 first semester in the Cougar Fund, but she is thrilled to continue her journey in the club next semester. She is passionate about financial analysis and exploring investment opportunities. Outside of school, Lilah works as a financial assistant at Property Advantage. In the future, she hopes to eventually land a career as a financial analyst or advisor. In her free time, Lilah enjoys snowboarding, hiking, doing yoga, and traveling to new places.

Zach Paine is a finance major and Portfolio Manager for the energy and utilities sector in the Cougar Fund. He led a team of analysts to conduct company valuations to lead the fund to sound investment recommendations. He hopes to use his background in fast-paced luxury hospitality and financial acumen to pursue a career in deal-oriented, analytical roles like investment banking and private equity. When he has free time, he enjoys surfing, playing guitar, and going to the gym.

Jacob Fletes is a senior finance major at 爆料社区 with a passion for investing and portfolio strategy. He works at Clarke Financial Services in Oceanside, CA, as a licensed tax preparer and plans to earn his SIE, Series 66, and Series 7 licenses after graduation. Outside of finance, he enjoys golf, snowboarding, and soccer.

Seth Arlauskas is a Finance major at California State University San Marcos, he has developed a strong interest in investment analysis and portfolio management. Over the past two semesters with the Cougar Fund, he has had the opportunity to serve as a Portfolio Manager for both the Materials and Industrials sectors. This experience has been valuable in strengthening my ability to evaluate companies through both a macro and micro lens by analyzing market trends, financial statements, and competitive positioning in order to make informed investment decisions. Overall, this hands-on experience has deepened his understanding of financial markets and equipped him with the analytical and strategic skills essential for a future career in investment management or corporate finance.

Noah is a finance major and is currently in his last semester of his senior year at 爆料社区. He hopes to pursue a career in either Insurance underwriting or claims adjusting and one day buy his own insurance agency. He also plans to get a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Certification. He enjoys playing golf, watching football, and has a black lab named Joey.

Terese Smith is a Finance major at California State University San Marcos, graduating this semester from the College of Business. With a strong analytical foundation, she currently serves as a Portfolio Manager focusing on the IT sector. Terese aims to pursue her CFA Level I certification following graduation and aspires to build a career as a Financial Analyst specializing in technology investments. She values collaboration and believes that the best results come from teams that learn and grow together.

Matthew is a third-year economics major at California State University San Marcos with a strong interest in economic policy and financial markets. He has experience in student advocacy and congressional offices, where he has supported civic engagement and economic research. After graduation, Matthew plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a securities lawyer. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, cooking, and spending time with family.

Entering my senior year, I am currently serving as the Marketing Director and Analyst for the 爆料社区 Cougar Fund. I create engaging posts that help attract more students and highlight the work our analysts are doing. I enjoy that my roles involve both the quantitative and creative sides of the program, giving me a unique perspective on how finance and communication come together. Being in the fund has taught me a lot about real-world market research and investor communication. Outside of the program, I enjoy working out and staying active.
